Hi, I'm Kelly — the maker behind The Borrowed Hour.

Every journal in this shop is handmade by me in my small workshop in Appomattox, Virginia. I hand-cut each cover from full-grain leather, set every grommet and rivet by hand, and hand-make each chain charm journal jewelry set — every piece built one at a time, with care in every detail.

Each piece is made to order — your journal isn't sitting on a shelf; it's crafted for you when you order. Please allow 2–3 weeks for production. Because every piece is one of a kind, all sales are final.
